    And I agree. Gold has been relatively flat in many currencies, down in the commodity currencies and strong in weak currencies (USD/GBP).

    So has gold been strong or have some currencies just been exceptionally weak?

    It seems to me that gold will show its hand when it begins rising in the majority of currencies.
