One of the goals is to promote electric vehicles ('EV') by building a national network of 500,000 EV chargers by 2030 and replacing 50,000 diesel public transit vehicles. Another ambitious goal is to update 20,000 miles of roads and 10,000 bridges.

Here's a more detailed summary of the proposal:

* Investing more than US$620 billion into infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, ports, airports and public transit, including US$174 billion investment into the electric vehicle market.

* Another US$650 billion for home infrastructure, including electrical grids updates, clean water, access to broadband, and high-quality housing.

* US$580 billion for manufacturing, research and development, job training.

* US$400 billion for elderly care and people with disabilities.
