a policy of containment is about all that can be done in the middle east.
Many of the muslim nations there deeply hate each others guts and they all hate Israel.
There is no easy or peaceful solution to this kind of hatred. Maybe an all-out war would help, or maybe not, I don't know.
The whole region is a sad indictment of the state of humanity.
