    Ok Eric...but I thought you wanted to discuss things that addressed the question.

    The resolutions before the UN security council have already been passed. Now UN members are backing out...I don't think the US will allow that to happen.
    The vetoes will be useless because Iraq is in breach of 1441 (I believe) and if the UN don't act as one then they become redundant and The US and supporting Allies will go alone.
    That is what I think will happen.
    What I hope happens is that the UN get some balls and recognise that Iraq is in breach and is a major threat to the world. Saddam lives happily ever after in NZ.
    or...somehow the US see that even if the UN is wrong now they give more time to the inspectors.

    I cant see the latter happening.
