US Army uniform moves forward

Looks like one version of the new uniform is starting to move, we could expect some announcement soon from AJX re this deployment of the new 57 percent Nylon/ 43 percent cotton blend, perhaps in the end of year report. My understanding is that  AJX is the nominated supplier of FR (and also Alexicool?) for uniform tests, being that they have the only product that does the nylon/cotton blend.
This statement is interesting, especially if they have nailed a FR/Alexicool blend:

"There no scientific studies to back this up, but heat casualties across the force are one of the biggest things that take soldiers out of the fight."

and

"January 2018 is going to be huge," said Capt. Daniel Ferenczy, assistant product manager for Extreme Weather Clothing and Footwear. "They are going to be pure-fleeted in the [Operation Camouflage Pattern] with jungle boots in a hot weather combat uniform."
