Lynas had to prove surety of competitive NdPr supply to win 90% of ROW mag maker demand, now those mag makers need to prove surety of competitive NdFeB supply to win 90% of ROW OEM demand, displace Chinese exports that would ultimately drag those OEM's into China.

Two versions unfolding ATM, a narrowly focused DYI version into Germany all about traction motors, and a more broad based multi country effort into US.

Lynas proved up the NdPr, then the NdO for the high end space, now looking to complete the supply chain with HRE, but it needs a mag maker to step up, and that mag maker needs surety it can be competitive into a large manufacturing base.

Perhaps short on specifics but AUSMIN interview today talks development trilateral RE supply chains Aust/Japan /US, with some nice Lynas background footage.

This is a hell of a lot more than a little HRE plant in Texas, potentially a massive undertaking way beyond just Lynas, but should now be obvious this will be a trilateral effort leveraging expertise & funding from three sovereigns into the largest & 2nd largest ROW manufacturing economies.
