US Capture Progress

They have now captured the Greater Los Angeles Area, the 2nd largest urban area in the US, 2011 pop ~18 million. To put that into pespective, the combined population of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra and Darwin is ~ 15.2 million. Nearmaps market potential has now effectively doubled.

The latest capture was Fresno, 260km SE of San Francisco last Tuesday the 5th of August.  Maybe they are planning on capturing San Francisco, Silicon Valley and our friends at the Googleplex next?
