I read this one on Twitter .... It will be very interesting to see what the outcome is regarding price discovery and who wins out. The arbitrage between comex/lbma and the Shanghai metal exchange must be very enticing for those wanting to take advantage of the US$100oz Gold and the almost US$3oz in Silver price difference.
The East is basically saying to the West that if you want to manipulate the spot price price using paper futures, then we will take all you've got of the real stuff. It will be fascinating to see how it turns out ....
