Many so calledexperts have been forecasting the decline of the US ever since god knows when. It's part of the normal currenct fluctuations that occur from time time.

I remember very well the mid 80's when the experts were saying the same thing and for a while they were right. I took notice and took out a put option on the US and did very well.

I have no doubt it will rise again as it did after that period of decline. The US is much more productive than the EU and this will eventually be reflected in the value if its currency. That's not to say that the US does not have some financial problems it needs to tackle.
