grant the us cannot keep the supply routes running the way they have been. their forces are extremely stretched and iraq is costing a bundle. if there is trouble at home they may well have to recall most of the troops, leaving an open door for europe to take its place and flex her muscles. there is also talk between mexico and the us of forming a union ie a merge with canada thrown in. and dont forget the threat of china. she has over 80 million single men of military age due to the one child policy. this could be a factor in europe becoming a greater force as well you forgot to mention in an earlier post french as being a common language
