Reading/ listening to the US news I discovered the wild swing on the Dow Fri from 141 up to 240ish down was caused by a leak re the downgrade. The Dow then vounced when there was news of the ECB buying Italian bonds.
That would suggest to me the downgrade news has been factored in by the professionals. It may be we see mom and pops do some panic selling on Monday followed by a bounce in the afternoon or Tues (maybe Wed Aussie time).
I never liked stop losses...until now.
