As far as I can see it..the reality is that this is a war of economic attrition. Conventional wars are basically out of the question(How would US afford that anyway?) Economic war is the way China will win out( along with others waiting and not quite in focus at the moment).
Eventually the $US will be a barbarous relic with no intrinsic value( As Gold has been reffered to). Empires come and empires go...it's pretty much the old European Empire and The US empire's time to face the precipice.
