I agree that electric will come, but in their current form are not the saviour.

Advancement means using less resources to do more, this is not the case with electric cars.

Until the battery issue is sorted & they need a four to ten fold increase in energy density to get the weight of the vehicle down.

Currently take say 80,000k's of driving to just break even for C02.

They don't remove Co2 they front end load the CO2 & make the world WORSE not better.

If the world was using nuclear power to charge then there would be a faster claw back.

How much Co2 & petroleum is going to be emitted & used just in building the charge points.

Happy to get off the petro economy, but the cost & path being presented doesn't stack up.
