EV market penetration is slow and expensive for dealers who have to spend millions in stock, tooling-up , training and promotions.
The Chevy Spark has been on the market for 4 years and has not been profitable for dealers.
The initial $200K franchise package is only a fraction of the real cost over time.
There were less than 7000 Ev & Plug-in Hybrids sold in Aus in 2019 (out of about 1.1 million vehicles sold)
