Hi SydG,
The question should be what is the China Yuen going to do?IMO the US$ is 20% + overvalued now and the only thing preventing that from materialising is that China hasn't or cant afford to put it under the appropriate pressure by selling some of the 1 Trillion debt the US owes it,therefore all commodities will remain in an upward trend as the US$ continues to devalue. Therefore say US$ goes down 20% Gold goes up 20% and A$ goes up20% making a nil gain in A$.However China Currency goes down 20% because it is currently fixed to the US$.Its just like a game of past the parcel and who knows when it will all blow up and maybe start GFC 2.
