    Financially untill China gets a Silicon Valley they will allways play second fiddle to the USA, as very good makers of widgets
    Politicly its easy to predict the doom of the USA however being a democracy it is less likely to implode than China.
    Militarily China lacks technology.
    Japan underestimated the resolve of the USA 60 years ago foreign investers are doing the same now.
