"The Department of Defense (DoD) has the need to develop medical countermeasures (MCM) against Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID). The objective of this acquisition is that the MCM must be based on a rapidly adaptable Platform Technology and/or possess Broad Spectrum efficacy against Influenza, specifically including the H1N1 Virus ("EID MCM"). DoD seeks contractors who have candidate EID MCM that has, at a miniumum, achieved Investigational New Drug (IND) with no FDA Clinical Hold, to further develop the candidate MCM to achieve FDA approval/licensure."............
