This is a good example of cognitive dissonance, imo.
There is plenty of evidence that the LTB's wish to drastically reduce the numbers...not themselves, of course.
From this 'attractive face we get this comment:

If this is the type of comment spoken in public, then you can only begin to imagine what is said behind closed doors.

Dave Foreman founder of Earth First: "“My three main goals would be to reduce human population to about 100 million worldwide, destroy the industrial infrastructure and see wilderness, with it’s full complement of species, returning throughout the world.”

Cut the population by 90% and there aren’t enough people left to do a great deal of ecological damage.”
They call it 'Sustainable Development' - Sustainable for whom...those whose wealth has been built upon the horrors of war and environmental destruction. Are we so stupid not to remain blind?
