"Since 1995, USEC has purchased low enriched uranium from Russia to diversify its supply base and meet its customers’ needs. Starting with the Megatons to Megawatts program, USEC and its Russian commercial partner TENEX have built a strong relationship that has made the world safer and supported the growth of clean, reliable nuclear power in the United States.

USEC expects this partnership to continue into the next decade with the Transitional Supply Contract signed in 2011, which will provide a continued supply of low enriched uranium from Russia for USEC to deliver to its customers around the world."
