From everyone going "ra ra ra!" over gold just a week ago, to the general doom and gloom of today is not warrented. SiameseParrot is right. The underlying fundamentals and reasons for the current POG are not going to go away anytime soon. The Fed is not going to stop what it is doing, nor are other central banks.

Smaller gold spec stocks will possibly get punished for a little while, but I think that is going to be the only effect of this little bear that people are frightened of right now.
