I would buy this stock in a heart beat if the company acquired some assets that had a good risk return profile. Cash on it's own will continue To be discounted by the market if the company has no real growth prospects.
During the GFC ( not far from today's index prices)many stocks traded at below cash, a few stayed that way for months.
