re: us economy is doomed/cars
Being that some of u are obviously into cars I thought I'd throw something in although I only know a tad from one of the early bird funders/ money men .
A [deleted] chap has invented or reinvented a fuel injector which permits an engine to run on both diesel and petrol . Works something like a std one but fuel is injected through a porcelin ? structure and is electronicly controlled . Injects small portion of fuel about 30 degrees before tdc to aid pre ignition? and then the full load which assists with atomisation apparently .
Could be a real winner as trucking companies world wide are battling to meet E.U. pollution requirements at present and are paying hefty fines for each engine built .
Be interesting if He/She ,lol, decides to take it public as the market for such an efficient [ supposedly efficient] product will generate huge returns .
