If it’s floodwater, that makes the AMOC stall, then the stall would probably be sudden and not be preceded by inundation of coastal Aussie capital cities - beyond things like Brisbane floods and the like.
The impact there will be an astonishingly rapid climate change and Oz will be hit with a monstrous mass migration wave or waves.
If it’s a result of very high temperatures melting ice sheets- it’s probably going to be slower, but coastal inundation would precede the stall and subsequent icing of the northern hemisphere.
So Oz would have massive relocation of it’s coastal populations and then after - massive migration waves
It may well be a combination - either way - Oz isn’t going to get off free.
I’m thinking that we’ll see some potentially accurate predictions this year or 2025
