The Trump insecurity and over-reach by China has frightened a lot of investment back into the US. Not exactly a mature way of doing it, but it was very effective.
Imo, while China grows as a strategic threat and continues with its own Trump like behaviour then business and investment globally will drift of its own accord back to the US. Money hates uncertainty, supply chains and manufacturing will be duplicated and governments will assist with that. So, on balance, if Biden wins, it will be a very good thing for Novonix and everybody in the renewable energy sector in the US.
