Neo, I am interested in trading US equities using primarily TA because imo on the ASX there are insufficient 'near perfect' TA opportunities for trading.
However, my preference is for short term trading ranging from a few days up to a few weeks for a single trade. That is, I don't have the time nor inclination to trade live in a day trader style by looking at 5 minute charts, etc.
I can trade US equities via my FPMarkets CFD account, but the charting facilities are not very good at all. I use BullCharts for ASX trading, but I am not sure what to to do wrt charts for US equities.
Maybe somehow I can get the data for US equities and import the data into BullCharts, which would be my preference. I will call BullCharts this week and ask them.
Alternatively I noticed that via Incredible Charts I can purchase the US equities data for $20 per month, which is quite cheap.
A few years ago I used Halifax Online for trading Gold and FX. I don't trade Gold and FX anymore, but the Halifax Online charts were very good, but not as well organised from a 'portfolio', 'watch list' and stock scanner perspective as BullCharts.
Before I start trading US equities I need to sort out the charting options as TA is my main focus.
Do you have any recommendations for charts wrt trading US equities?
Just in case you have not noticed, the poster named Katoom trades US equities and sometimes posts useful info.
