Neo, I have been quite slow moving in my quest to set up my charts and trading platform to swing trade US stocks. However, I have recently signed up for live NYSE and NASDAQ data via WebIress. In addition, as a decent charting package with end of day (EOD) data is essential for my style of swing trading, I need something a lot better than the charts provided via WebIress or free charts like Bigcharts. However, to my surprise I discovered that Bullcharts, which I use for ASX stocks, already includes the EOD charts for US stocks. Hence, there was no extra charge above the $352 pa that I presently pay Bullcharts for EOD data and use of the charting software. The live data and very primitive live charts that I get through WebIress cost 2.20 USD per month for the NYSE data and 1.10 USD per month for the NASDAQ data.

Now all I need to do is create a US stocks watchlist within Bullcharts, and start monitoring the charts for trading opportunities. The objective of my move into US stocks is to expand the number of opportunities with near ideal trading opportunities from a technical perspective. I prefer to only trade relatively large caps on the ASX, mostly within the ASX100, in order to provide sufficient liquidity. However, the number of ideal technical trading opportunities in the ASX100 stocks is very limited.
