Ahh yes Alway however it does not mean that China strategy is the best - anything but given their Belt and Road massive plans - economic issues - manufacturing slide - people dissent - particular property and their massive EV price wars between manufacturers whom not so long ago would have been salivating on the thoughts of taking over global auto supply market.

I believe we will see far greater tariffs than that in the China gov publication "global times". They are certainly very worried and this article shows such. If they lose US and EU market share - well interesting times ahead for a great deal of trade retaliation - banning/reductions in the export of critical minerals will hit US and EU hard - and judging by the very high May rare earths exports increase it would appear the west is stocking up at beautiful low premiums in the event the exports are curbed as we saw latter part of last year. Very, very interesting to say the least.
