He says Turkey - we aren't against China EV imports - we just need to level the playing field so a 40% import tariff should be suffice and then we'll be on parity with pricing and we'll let the people decide for which of course the high majority of people will buy EU made.
Expect the rest of EU to be similar - 40-50% protection tariffs will do it without trying to offend Beijing to much. Which of course and if I'm Beijing I'll be pissed and will soon respond accordingly with the two massive markets of US and EU essentially blocking the door on Chinese E imports of various nature.
