I think that you are looking at a small section of the big picture is that there is so much debt around the world that this debt has to be liquidated so that we can start again. Society has to go three steps forwad and then two steps back. The steps back are going to be very painful for most of society as when this is all over they will find that they are back in the poor box again.
I do agree with you in the long run we will be better of after this has happen. I hope that we will get back to a people based society and find a good way to live together.
