I have to do some more personal research, but I believe MFG have a large exposure to stocks on the Dow Jones.
For the life of me I have not been able to work out it traded so strongly over the past 2 days. It is in a nice up trend and this bodes well for the stock, but its taken off yesterday and today.
Then I realised - the all important job figures are due out in the US tonight. Is it possible that the smart money has positioned itself in MFG in anticipation of strong job data tonight?
We will know by tomorrow.
