Thanks for the link bloosky. Wow, that is actually one of the most comprehensive broker reports I've seen.

Anyone interested, I really recommend taking a look, they have done a great job of analysing it and importantly, they have identified the great unknowns that still surround shale in Australia.

The part on Senex is great as well. Interestingly their valuations and conclusions are almost exactly in line with mine - similar valuations for oil, CSG and blue sky.

They rate it a hold, and give fair value for SXY as 73c and say "However, we believe its historic growth and future prospects are already incorporated in its share price."
