NEA announced US test flights on 6/5/2014,
FAA approval on 17/7/2014,
Announced US expansion on 13/10/2014.
SFI are running a joint Australian and FAA approval process with the final US part already lodged (if you believe what the company has said). So this would be out of SFI and EV's control. I don't think it matters whether EV use them for free now "testing" because we can't generate any revenue from their use in the US anyway.
There is no doubt that once we move away from a single executive structured company to a CEO influenced revenue facing business SFI will be very profitable. My point of contention is around the miscommunication and lack thereof to the market. I'd rather no announcement than a fantasy statement. It reflects very poorly on the company and I don't see how anyone can respect what they say going forward without new public facing executives that haven't tarnished their reputation.
