Did you read past the headlines? The approval they got was for there new in aircraft camera not the pods they were using for the initial test flights.
Also you don't think EV have friends at the FAA after all the years they've been operating there?
EV are imo not our friends, if they can find a way to screw SFI and still get what they need,I'm sure they will.
