I use VT platform and that has a great in built charting package so I don;t need to look at 3rd party charting. I did browse through the ones you mentioned and admit they are worth the money but for my systemm I can get by with VT's charting.

I use 1/2 hr and 15 min charts and a 50MA on the 1/2 hr just for guidance. Indicators I use are MACD for divergence as you do and find thats enough along with weekly pivots which give the S+R levels for this weeks trading. It's a variation of Peter Bain's system. I also draw trend lines on the 15 min chart which as you say react very well to TA. I don't scalp and just trade a small margin looking for >50 pips with a 20-40 pip stop incase the S+R levels fail.

It's more exciting trading currencies, stocks are getting boring and I can;t short equities like in FX.
