The NATO Allied Land Command Twitter account also posted an image of Cloutier speaking at the same event in Izmir, Turkey on April 6, 2022 (here).
Meanwhile, the social media posts wrongly described Cloutier’s job title as ‘U.S. Africa Command HQ Chief of Staff’ rather than the head of the Allied Land Command, which has been his title since August 2020 (here).
Cloutier is also a Lt. General, not a Major General, as the posts claimed.
Prior to that, Cloutier served as commander of U.S. Army Africa/Southern European Task Force (here).
