THe two standouts in the gold mining space are NAV and SBM. They are both perceived as high cost miners, but both also have or will have high volume production.
SBM moved from 25c pre-hedging its King of the Hills project to 35c today (post-hedging).
NAV is yet to move and also coincidentally yet to hedge. Huge upside potential here.
Yes, charl , the profits are sustainable. Gold companies have the rare benefit of being able to sell their production before producing it - therefore guaranteeing their revenue.
I hold NAV and really like what I am seeing production wise.
