    Although I agree that nuclear generated power should be part of the solution IMO the real cost of it has to be factored in - ie. the whole life cycle, including insurance against disasters.

    IMO commonsense should also dictate that some locations are absolutely totally unsuited to plant location - let alone for waste storage & disposal. Given the realities of global terrorism the industry also needs to improve transportation & security arrangements. Again, those costs must be fully factored into the product & not just left to the public to pick up when the company goes belly up.

    I am absolutely opposed to the leakage of nuclear products to the weapons industry but strongly in favour of its use by Science & Medicine.
