That's true but only because of years of management inaction on this front. If you haven't done anything to prepare (even just the faint outline of a plan to introduce formula *one day*) then you can't turn around and say 'well, it's too late to do anything now' the moment an opportunity arises.
Plus, how much stock would market testing require anyway. Launch it quietly in a few stores in a few key cities and see how it goes. At this stage, if they even just said they will test it in 2H23, more than 6 months from now, I would be satisfied, that is how little of a plan we have been given.
