You are absolutely right. a2 has no IF business in the states and no plans so far. But then one would wonder what is the end game for a2 in the states? Get to breakeven point and then what get a few bucks on top of it? Selling liquid milk won’t get you anywhere. You need high margin products. Yes, getting into IF business over there is extremely challenging with all its bureaucracy, protectionism and corruption. But, if they won’t use current opportunity to at least start the process I doubt they ever will. Plus they have money, they can buy or get into jv with existing domestic manufacturer in the state. David Hearn was talking a lot about opportunities in the last few years instead of returning money to shareholders, so here is one. Otherwise what is the point to be in this market?
