For those of you getting impatient during the period of the share swap involing the IFC,
President Samia addresses the parliament on Thursday for the first time since
she became president.
Her topics will include this, the continuation points outlined by Magufuli in Nov last year, of invitation of the private sector.

President Hassan’s predecessor, the late Magufuli, inaugurated the 12^th parliament after his re-election in November 2020 when he pledged to remove hurdles that faced investors wishing to do business in the country.

Magufuli announced he was moving the Tanzania Investment Center from the Prime Minister's Office to his office to make them more vibrant.
He invited the private sector, both domestic and foreign, to invest in the country's agriculture, tourism, fisheries and mining sectors.


We could expect some comments about mining in that address on Thursday.

Followed by the emergency meeting on the 30th.
