Sometime back there was a lot of discussion on HFT.
Currently reading a book by Michael Lewis - Flash Boys. It is all about HFT, data centres, dark pools, sequential cost-effective routers, front-running, microseconds, nanoseconds and lots more technical stuff, some of which I do not understand.
If interested in how the big boys and their servers manipulate the market, then this is essential reading.
