If investors aren't aware, LYC will continue to prioritise Japan, including through the JV with Blue Line (as per the agreement with JARE):

'Lynas will continue to prioritize the needs of Japanese customers for the supply of Heavy Rare Earths products produced by the BlueLine JV, to the extent possible under any agreement with the U.S.'

My understanding is that, at least initially, there won't be any crumbs left over for US. IF DoD etc wants to sure up REE coming from LYC/BL, investment/expansion of current plans may be required (preferably with funds from US gov).
