the nikkei went from 38,000 to 7,000 something
the PE at its peak was about 93 and it has fallen about 80%
the dow was around 14,000 and on a PE of 28 before it started on its downhill run
it is now 8000 and has fallen about 40%
the s&p 500 was about 1550 and 876 or about 40%
the pe at 876 is 11
I don't have the PE for the DOW at 8000
the ASX was about 14 when it was 6,800. it is now at 3,800 the PE is less than 9.
the Nikkei on a PE of 93 is a big difference from the DOW on 28
93 vs 28 at the peak, come on
so this statement about a decade long depression is really out of wake with the fundamentals
