If all these disastrous situations have occured under a Liberal Government who is telling us that everthing is ok, why would a change of government be bad? Surely a new government at minimum could call a halt to the slide. I seem to remember similar arguments being trotted out prior to a change and Australia didn't fall over the edge ,quite the contrary. If a democratic win in the US eventuates, the whole ball game may change. All that is obvious these days is that figures produced by various governments are not worth the paper they are written on after a few months.
