US listing, what happens then?, page-9

Thanks ses, interesting thread, I've been thinking about this myself.

Does anyone know, in the event that at US listing occurs and we were delisted from the asx, would one's holdings simply be transferred or would you have to undertake transactions ie sell here/rebuy in US ? I ask because I don't currently have access to US exchanges and would need to organise this, plus I would be concerned about CGT implications and having to re-risk ie buy back in at the going price.

All hypothetical I know, but any insight would be appreciated. Cheers. Dan
