US economy is improving. Most of the stats coming out confirm that fact. No one is talking about a recession any more but the strength of the recovery.
The US market is another story. Earnings still dont support many of the valuations, particularly in whats left of the techs.
The same cant be said of the Australian market. We have split to a large extent from slavishly following the US market. We didnt follow Weds rally up.
Option expiry this week should imo see a good rally to ensure puts expire out of the money. Usually happens.
The rest of the year will be volatile but whether it closes up or not is guesswork.
