There's one imminent grant opportunity that could be worth cwe putting some money into. That's this one below, where 2x $5 mill will be provided to help deploy a device at the Hawaii site. The endorsement of a us dept of energy/navy association would be worth a great deal in my opinion, even if it adds to the bill. Whether cwe think it's worth it is another thing. From their previous meetings you'd have to think so.
