SLewis, the US has to use Centrus's ACP, they have no other choice, but I believe they do need some presence by GLE just to provide some diversity for times when say the centrifuge technology falls over and an outage is required, it gives them a redundancy factor, but I do believe the technology the US uses for it's international sales will use 100% GLE, simply because the ACP technology will not be competitive enough against the Russians or the Chinese, they have very cheap workforces and are state owned anyway.

There was a time when they were going to re enrich the Uranium recovered from used nuclear fuel, that is no longer the case and was the reason why GEH wanted out of GLE I believe, it was no longer part of their core technology plan, they leave the Uranium in the used neclear fuel now and they recover the Plutonium along with the Uranium and all it's transuranics, the Uranium transuranics provide proliferation support to stop any thefts of the recovered Plutonium, they both get burnt up as new fuel along with some added enriched Uranium.
