I'm not sure why you ask a question about spodumene in Post #: 58690541 in the "LPD share price" thread @Wrw. Your question seems to be technical, not price related.

The answer to your question may lay, in part, in earlier posts here (especially by @sqe here: Post #: 50345562 and here: Post #: 50361261 ) and in every LPD presentation.

Each corporate presentation discusses extraction from lithium mica minerals (especially lepidolite, zinnwaldite and amblygonite). Those familiar with LPD will also be aware of the patent application involving for lithium recovery from phosphate minerals.
Extracting lithium from amblygonite (again at low temperatures) could be a significant asset, especially at up to 10.3% Li2O concentration levels.

Whilst there is a recent Chinese patent (2019) from 汕头市泛世矿产资源股份有限公司 (its the company name) for the extraction of lithium from amblygonite (WO2019015011A1) using either acid or alkali, the method involves sinter roasting. A low temperature alternative will certainly be more attractive.

Changes to the PP and the ability to further develop the chemistries may lead to a non-roasting alternative for spodumene granite pegmatites, but not yet.

Do take some time to read previous threads. It may save you asking a question for which there is already an answer.
