yes agree with your inflation theory on gold
but i think gold does ok in all the high 'flations..
we all know gold does ok during inflation.
during stagflation in the 70's gold did really well.
deflation and gold, dont recall a precedent, but i think the correlation with the USD will be more important, maybe.. but certainly interesting to see what gold does during a full blown deflationary period.
